A Diplomat of the American Board of Urology since 1979 and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons since 1980, Dr. Feldman completed his urology residency at Temple University School of Medicine.

Dr. Feldman earned his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine in 1972. He is Chief of Urology at Somerset Medical Center. In addition, he is a member of professional organizations including the Medical Society of New Jersey and the American Urological Association.

Dr. Feldman was inducted into the Hall of Fame of Somerset Medical Center in 2007 and is President of Somerset Urological Associates, P.A.


Dr. Joel M. Fischer Joel M. Fischer, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Board-certified Urologist

A Diplomat of the American Board of Urology and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Dr. Fischer completed his surgical training as well as his urology training at New York Medical College, Valhalla, NY.

Dr. Fischer graduated Cum Laude from Syracuse University, Syracuse, NY, and earned his medical degree from New York Medical College. He has conducted research in Immunosuppressive Factors Derived from Renal Cancer Cells, Benign Soft Tissue Neoplasm Simulating Sarcoma of the Spermatic Cord and Establishment of a New Human Prostatic Cancer Cell Line. He has presented his work in national forums.

Dr. Fischer is the Chairman of the Prostate Cancer Institute at the Steeplechase Cancer Center and has particular expertise in bladder and kidney surgery as well as all aspects of urology with a special interest in urinary incontinence and urinary voiding dysfunction.

A Diplomat of the American Board of Urology and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Dr. Harmon completed his general and urologic surgery training at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York.

Dr. Harmon graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude from Amherst College and earned his M.D. from Harvard Medical School. He has conducted research in prostate disease and has presented and published his work at national forums and in journals. In addition, he co-authored a chapter in a leading urologic textbook.

Dr. Harmon benefits from state-of-the-art training in all urologic disciplines, with particular expertise in prostate diseases, urinary incontinence, stone disease, and laparoscopic kidney surgery.


Dr. John H. Lifland John H. Lifland, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Board-certified Urologist

Dr. John Lifland is a graduate of the University of Virginia School of Medicine. He served his internship and urology residency at Pennsylvania Hospital. He is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Lifland is president of the Medical and Dental Staff at Somerset Medical Center and past president of the Urological Society of New Jersey. He previously was a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Additionally, he is a member of numerous professional societies and the author of several professional papers.
