He has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals and has written several book chapters. He brings with him a passion for what he does and a desire to provide state-of-the-art treatments for his patients that offer minimal pain and faster recovery. "I spend a lot of time time in educating patients about their condition, options for therapy and expectations for treatment as well as for recovery. Especially for cancer patients, I find that many of their fears and anxieties are relieved just by having a clear understanding of what to expect. Beyond that, it always helps to be courteous, concerned, and responsive to their needs. We went into medicine to heal people, and much of the healing we do happens to occur at the psychological level. More than the actual surgery or treatment that we provide, I find that patients appreciate the time we spend with them and the emotional concern that we show towards them."
